Taka was never formally inducted into Akatsuki. They were more like independent contractors, hired for a specific job. Their cloaks were slightly different and they didn’t have the identifying rings.
You’ll notice that Sasuke didn’t wear the cloak after their attempted capture of Killer Bee – For all their collaboration afterwards with the Gokage Summit and the battle with Danzo, Obito and Sasuke’s goals were simply aligned. Sasuke never sympathized with Akatsuki’s goals. And even then…
By the time Obito had killed Konan the Akatsuki as known by the Ninja world, envisioned and headed by Nagato was no more. By then the only ones left were Obito and those loyal to him, eg Zetsu and Kisame. Sasuke needed Obito up until he had gained Itachi’s eyes and recovered. After that he had no more reason to stay.
Is Sasuke still in the Akatsuki?
No, Sasuke is not still a member of the Akatsuki. His tenure with the organization was relatively short-lived, as he eventually diverged from their objectives to pursue his own goals, which conflicted with the Akatsuki’s overarching agenda.
